My line: "That [insert clothing, accessory, or other fashion component] is all wrong for you."

Crow: "That? No. Bad. Drop it." She proceeds to act like the person in question is a dog that is trying to eat something they shouldn't.

Weed: "Uhm, the... Accessory choice, are you quite sure it's right for the event? It looks positively fun, but I'm a tad worried that it might not be the thing in this particular context." He will instantly apologize if it looks like they hurt your feelings in any way.

Hey: "Ooh, funky! You sure you're comfy with that? Want me to help style it?" He still thinks it's atrocious btw but he'll try to fix it.

Dusty: "Give it here, mortal, I'm saving you from the imminent embarrassment you're dooming yourself to. Only one of us can pull this off."

Sleepy: "Is that what the kids are wearing these days? It's fine if you're having fun, just, when looking back at photos of this ten years down the line, don't say I didn't say anything." Accompanied by the most tired old man look you've ever seen on a twenty-something.

Agent Owl and agent Falcon: "According to section F subsection 19 of the EATT manual it is imperative all agents refrain from dressing conspicuously or in a manner that can be confused with an extraterrestrial, excluding the cases of disguise or outmost urgency: for full list of exceptions see addendum 8.1.1. Please alter your attire accordingly."

Wanted to draw a spooky(?) boy I got kinda recently!

I had a really wild AU idea. (I am currently experiencing the effects of melatonin.)

So, we all know how the SMG universe stuff kicks off (in Factory Reset anyway). Juliano's universe dies off, and he's the only one that lives.

In this, while Juliano lives (in a sense), his family/friends obviously,, yknow. But!! In this, what if..

They lived, but as ghosts! And they end up in the Mario universe. And who else do they get attached to, but the Mario Bros.

As such, the RSC crew (minus Juliano for obvious reasons) end up as ghosts attached to the Mario Bros. For most of their lives, the Bros think that they're imaginary friends! And so did everyone around them. Until, of course, they got past the age where they should have them and continued to see them.

When the Bros were about eighteen, Danielle (as a ghost, of course) would be the one to explain. She didn't tell them everything (like their universe dying), just said that they met their ends and ended up getting attached to the Bros, as one does.

As such, the Bros grow up with the ghosts hanging around them! And, of course, come the whole universe activation, they've actually got people who were knowledgeable about it!

Plus, SMG4 & SMG3 can see them too, so that helps.

Mandy is the one who helps Mario out the most while navigating his whole new deal. She does, of course, admit more of the truth to the Bros following this. Telling them that her brother was once an Avatar, but, well.. he isn't around anymore.

As such, a lot of Mario's relationships are better! Mandy (and the others) are there to coach, but Mario and the SMGs on how to be better people. Yes, there's bumps and rocks in the road, but ultimately, it's nowhere near as bad as it is in cannon.

Of course, the whole Factory Reset thing happens. They meet the USBs (minus Emulator), and Mandy is hit by how familiar they are. She can't place it, but she decides that maaaybe she should keep an eye on that. And yes, the USBs do notice her (Admins and and all that), but since they don't remember her, they ultimately decide not to interfere.

Until, of course, Juliano comes around. But since his code is so shit.. he can't see them. And Mario, Luigi, and the SMGs are very reluctant to tell him since;

A) Its clearly a very sensitive subject

B) They have no clue how he would react

And C) Even if they did tell Juliano, would he even believe them?

And it, of course, gets worse when the USBs get their memories back, and they too are reluctant to tell. It's a whole big mess, and Mandy especially is constantly teetering on the edge of 'do I let them tell him or not'?

It's Leap Day, so tell me about a leap (a big decision, an impulsive action, a change in life circumstances, etc.) that your blorbo(s) have taken?

Sleepy, hello!

I feel like Big Leaps in my stories are often metaphors/parallels for self-discovery, and the two examples that jump to mind are good illustrations of that:

Rukard, a guy I haven't spoken about lots recently but whom I rotate in my mind all of the time, ends up losing his original body and choosing to remain in the body and identity of a Chimers King - which parallels growth from wanting to die a heroic death because he didn't see any value in his life, and also him gaining enough confidence to assume a new identity he's more comfortable with (he is in fact very very trans). That is definitely a big leap, and my boy takes time adjusting to being 6'4 and having claws, but hey, his found family is there for him and also he' very good at punching things now! He just needs to find the right time to convince his father he (Chimera king!Rukard) didn't kill his daughter (Rukard's more known old identity).

Another big leap is Dusty, a character from Broken Blessings, which I think I told you a little about a while ago, pretending that he's going to devour a star - which she is very good at, on account of it being her original purpose as The Devourer of Dancing Stars, but it's also a ruse to help *save* a dancing star - it's risky and impulsive, but it's also a culmination of how much Dusty has changed since the beginning of their story.
